The principles behind the foundation of Panther Ridge Training Center were developed from both the training regime required for armed combat, and from actual experiences of being under fire. Although this originates from a Military or Law Enforcement background, we take it to the next level and make it civilian applicable for both novices and those going in harm’s way. To facilitate this training, Panther Ridge is a live fire maneuver range, with a 100 yard pistol/carbine section, and a 300, 400, 500 meter, and 600 yard long range platform. Both of these sections are equipped with steel silhouette targets and paper target boards. We also have various obstacles, shooting stands, and barriers to aid in your training. This is not a typical stand up and shoot range, this is where survival in training begins.
All courses require a wide brimmed hat, eye protection, and appropriate clothing for weather or training conditions. Apart from that, each course will have a specific gear list and round count that clients will have to contact PRTC staff for. If interested, call or email about a specific course, and we’ll get you started. Once we have your date set, the next step is to meet on that day, we’ll get payment sorted and then our instructor(s) will drive to the range with clients following. If needed one or two clients may ride with one of the PRTC instructor for the day.
